Peachtree Hope Charter School announces the location of their first school campus at 1807 Memorial Drive SE, DeKalb County, Georgia.
On Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., members of the Peachtree Hope School Board and its President, Mr. Lonnie King, as well as members of SABIS® Educational Systems will conduct a media conference at 1807 Memorial Drive SE, Decatur, to discuss the new school site and the school’s enrollment efforts.
Peachtree Hope Charter School is managed and operated by Minnesota-based SABIS® Educational Systems, Inc., which currently manages eight charter schools in five states across the US. Peachtree Hope will open in the fall of 2010 in DeKalb County and will initially enroll 540 students in kindergarten through grade 5. The school will expand by one grade level each year until it offers a full K-12 program.
The school will be guided by its mission: to be a provider of top quality education to a highly diverse student body. It will prepare all students for success in college, equip them with the ability and desire for lifelong learning, and strengthen their civic, ethical, and moral values. The school will maintain high standards of efficiency and accountability throughout its operation.
Students at Peachtree Hope will expand their education in an environment emphasizing a rigorous, college-preparatory academic program. Peachtree Hope students will benefit from school uniforms and will be required to meet high behavioral and academic expectations.
When it opens in the fall, Peachtree Hope will become a member of the global SABIS® School Network, currently comprised of schools in 15 countries and educating over 57,000 students. As is the case in all SABIS® member schools, Peachtree Hope will provide its students with access to the SABIS® Educational System, a proven educational system helping students achieve their full potential.
