School Profile

Peachtree Hope will open in the fall of 2010 in DeKalb County and will initially enroll 654 students in grades K-5. The college-preparatory school will expand by one grade level each year until it offers a full K-12 program. Peachtree Hope Charter School is managed and operated by Minnesota-based SABIS® Educational Systems, Inc., a private, full-service educational management organization.

PHCS will have a rigorous curriculum based on world-class standards tailored and aligned to meet the Georgia Content Standards. The curricula will be sufficiently broad to allow students opportunities to study a range of subjects, including: English, mathematics, Spanish, science, history/social studies, music, art, health, P.E., and Information Technology. Particular emphasis will be given to English and math, as these subjects are a gateway and the building blocks for understanding and exploring other subjects.
